Glen Hunt
Glen Hunt, Southern Market Manager, Midland United Dairy Industry Association, is the recipient of the 1977 Hall of Honors-Dairy Leadership Award, presented annually by the Association of Missouri Dairy Organizations.
Mr. Hunt, born and reared on a dairy farm near Springfield, Missouri, has spent nearly a quarter of a century in promoting the sale of milk and its products. In earlier years he worked for the Producers Creamery, Springfield and from 1966 to 1972 he was a representative for the American Dairy Association. In 1972 he assumed his present position with Midland U.D.I.A.
His duties involve member relations and specifically point of sales promotion of milk and dairy products. Included are over 550 supermarkets in Missouri where dairy product sales promotion is conducted three times a year. Mr. Hunt is widely recognized and respected for his hard work and dedication in behalf of Missouri dairymen.
Glen and his wife Wanda, a Willard, Missouri farm girl, now live in Hazelwood, Missouri. They have two daughters, both married, and two grandchildren.
Mr. Hunt was presented a beautiful, properly inscribed, plaque at the Awards Breakfast, held in conjunction with the Missouri Dairymen’s Institute; March 17-19, Columbia, Missouri.
