Caleb Ruether
The 2020 Missouri Dairy Hall of Honors Foundation’s Scholarship recipient is Caleb Reuther of Marthasville, Missouri. Caleb is a senior at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri majoring in Animal Science. Caleb’s future plans include continuing his education to become a large animal veterinarian. He has been partially paying for his education by working at the University’s livestock farm where he is a large part of the “chores crew” making sure several species of livestock are fed properly. Caleb’s supervisor at the farm and one of his professors wrote letters highly praising him for his attitude, work ethic, professionalism and communicative skills. Caleb is active in Collegiate Farm Bureau and other extracurricular activities. He is the son of Gary and Michelle Ruether of Marthasville, Missouri.
The Missouri Dairy Hall of Honors Foundation annually presents a scholarship of up to $2,500 to encourage one or more upper class Missouri college students who have demonstrated the potential to become future leaders and contributors to the Missouri dairy industry. This scholarship is funded by the generosity of F&H, Hiland Dairy, and the Emory Vieten and Dr. John Campbell families.
The Missouri Dairy Hall of Honors Foundation was established in 1988 to recognize and honor individuals whose leadership and outstanding contributions over their lifetime have significantly improved the Missouri dairy industry.
